Opportunities for Achieving Excellence - Health Education Standards Workshop
This workshop will provide an overview of the National Health Education Standards (NHES), Performance Indicators and the connection between Vermont Health Education Standards and Grade Expectations. Participants will learn the characteristics of effective health education, explore ways to utilize both NHES and Vermont Grade Expectations to improve classroom instruction, and examine various forms of student assessment.

Participants are encouraged to bring health education curriculum or lessons plans and examples of student work.
